How to Use This Practice

This is a simple evening reflection exercise designed to cultivate gratitude, build intentional habits, and train your mind to notice the positive. Spend 5 - 10 minutes at the end of each day answering these questions in a journal or notes app.

The Four Questions

  • What 3 things am I grateful for today? - Identify moments, people, or experiences you appreciated
  • What 3 things could I do tomorrow that would make it a great day? - Set intentional goals for the next day
  • An affirmation - Complete the statement: “I am…” with something meaningful to you
  • What 3 amazing things happened today? - Reflect on small wins and positive moments you may have overlooked

Why This Works

This practice rewires your brain to notice abundance rather than scarcity. Over time, it helps you:

  • Develop a more optimistic perspective
  • Become more intentional about your days
  • Build self-awareness and emotional resilience
  • Create a personal record of growth and gratitude
